Allan Brain worked his way through college and law school, as a full-time factory worker at Kansas University and as a caretaker for an Alzheimers patient at The University of Texas at Austin Law School, while he was also a full-time student at both institutions. After graduating from UT Law School in 1979, he worked in administrative law and litigation, including what was at the time the most complex federal multi-district case in history.
For the past two decades, he has been representing plaintiffs and defendants in cases involving personal injuries, professional misconduct including medical and legal malpractice, scientific misconduct, employment, sexual assault, real estate and contractual disputes, nursing home negligence, wrongful death, psychiatric and mental health cases, and products liability.
Allan has also served as a trial consultant and jury consultant for other lawyers and has stepped in on late notice to try cases for other lawyers when they need lead trial counsel. Allan has tried successfully cases in Dallas County, Harris County, Brazoria County, and Wharton County, and has litigated and resolved successfully cases in San Antonio (Bexar County), Austin (Travis County), and Fort Worth (Tarrant County). He has also appeared and argued in proceedings before the United States Department of Energy, United States Department of Commerce, and National Institutes of Health. He and Susan have also handled appellate cases in several appellate courts in Texas as well as in the Fifth Ciruit Federal Court of Appeals.
Susan Fuller is a 2001 graduate of St. Mary's University School of Law and has been practicing law since that time. Susan is admitted to practice in all Texas state courts and is licensed to practice law in the United States District Court for the Southern of Texas and the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals.
Susan's practice consists of representing clients all types of personal injury cases, including medical malpractice, tire defects, automobile/trucking accident; construction litigation; commercial litigation; premises liability; insurance defense (first and third party); products liability; and general liability. Susan has handled a large number of medical malpractice cases, and has successfully handled personal injury and property damage claims and has successfully represented clients in numerous multi-million dollar cases, including mass tort plaintiffs in the Ortho-Evra litigation. Susan also represents plaintiffs in cases involving massage related sexual assault.
Allan has represented all kinds of clients, ranging from poverty-stricken clients of all backgrounds, including convicted drug dealers who have been victims of medical negligence or other personal injuries, to world-famous physicians and scientists in matters of scientific methodology.
Allan also has taken on many cases over the years that other lawyers turned down because they did not investigate or understand the science or did not bother to investigate or even to talk to the potential client.
